As our summer draws to an end...

Note: The date of the meeting has been corrected. It is on Sunday the 7th instead of the 9th.

As our summer draws to an end, I finally have a few moments to reflect on the summers activities. I hope that everyone that attended the Summer Picnic enjoyed themselves as much as me and my family. I would like to thank everyone that pitched to make the event a success. The Beck’s Brew and DECA”s got talent were fine additions to the festivities.

I would like to express my gratitude to the DECA brewer, Adam Beck, and his family for their help. My thanks also goes out to the Brown’s, and the Hueston’s for all of their help in organizing, setting up, cooking and cleaning up the park. Thanks also to the Hall’s, Spiker’s, and Bill Mullarkey for donating tables, tents, nets, etc…

The fall is drawing near and it is time to start to plan the fall activities so I have scheduled a meeting on Sunday September 7th at 7pm. We will hold it at my house, 254 Swedesford Road. Please join us and help us plan the Fall Fest, the Back to School night and new to the calendar, “DECA’S NIGHT OUT,” an evening to bend a few elbows, with your neighbors, at one of our fine local pubs. Those of us with children, line up the babysitters.

Please let me know if you plan to attend the meeting @ MCBEVEC@comcast.net or 610-651-5644.

Please let your neighbors, who don’t have email, know about the meeting.

Thanks,

Karen.
