Welcome Spring! Here are some updates from the last DECA meeting on 3/29/09…
Save the date -- The annual DECA neighborhood picnic will be on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to dusk at the park. Details to follow.
Website update – To accommodate the growing number of requests to post ads for businesses & services, area/community events, etc., we are setting up a second DECA site. Those residents wishing to receive this type of information as well as regular, DECA-only updates will have the opportunity to “opt in” to this service. Look for an email with details shortly.
If you are currently receiving duplicate copies of the newsletter (hard copy and email), please notify Maria Hueston at CCML2002@aol.com to be removed from the hard copy distribution. We have made great strides in the effort to go paperless and want to continue in that direction. To sign up for e-delivery of the DECA newsletter visit www.decainfo.blogspot.com .
Yard Sale – Due to lack of participation last year, there will be no DECA yard sale this spring.
Courtesy Reminders –
- Please watch your speed while driving through the neighborhood. Warmer weather is here, which means more children playing outside and more people walking the neighborhood. Let’s keep it safe for all.
- Please remember that any notices or flyers you distribute to other neighbors (for donations, happenings, etc.) should be signed with your name and address, as these do not come directly from the DECA Board. Thank you!
