Register kids to learn about acting this summer.

Registration continues for FOOTLIGHTERS THEATER SUMMER DRAMA June 24 - July 12.

Now in its 31st year, the program is for students in grades 3 - 8 to learn all about acting. Class includes work on improv, dialogues, creating characters, auditioning, and a final performance.

"This coming Saturday, May 11th, there will be a yard sale at The Gormans at 20 Wood Lane.

The time is 8 a.m. to Noon. All proceeds will go to Girl Scout Troop 42122. The five girls in this troop hope to go to California during the summer of 2014.

Two of the girls, Allison Fermani and April Gorman live here in Down East.
