missing items....

After a great time at the DECA Picnic, there are a few items missing. If anyone accidentally picked up a volleyball, please return it to the Mullarkey family. The Bevec's also picked up a basketball that doesn't belong to them. Lastly, a 6 foot long white table is also missing. ? It belongs to the Hall family.
Thanks.

Town Hall Meetings for Great Valley School District, East Whiteland Township and Chester County

Tina Hall passed this along. Tuesday July 8th was the first meeting. There's another meeting scheduled for August 5th.
Representatives from O’Neill Properties Group will host a Town Hall meeting for Great Valley School District and East Whiteland Township residents to describe their Tax Increment Financing (TIF) request for Uptown Worthington, the mixed use project in development at the former Worthington Steel Factory at Route 202 and Route 29 in East Whiteland Township.

This meeting is open to the Public and will be held on July 8th at 7:00 P.M. in the Penn State Great Valley Auditorium, located at 30 East Swedesford Road. Following the presentation and Q&A session, there will be a walking tour of Uptown Worthington from 8:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

An additional Town Hall Meeting will be held on August 5th, also at Penn State Great Valley, starting at 7:00 P.M.
When it opens in Fall 2009, Uptown Worthington will transform the former Worthington Steel Factory into a 100-acre live, work, and play community. Uptown Worthington will house a mix of uses, including retail, office, hotel, and residential, in a completely underserved area to provide a traditional town experience.

Please RSVP to Erin Avon at 610-239-6112 or email: eavon@oneillproperties.com

The original notice was found via the GVSD website. (To read the original you need to have Internet Explorer or something that reads web archive files)

Also, for those of you who haven't seen it. I am including a link to the Uptown Worthington website. http://www.worthingtonmalvern.com/ It includes a planning map and an aerial map of the area on the press page.

Here's the announcement on the East Whiteland site. Thanks Patty for passing it along. BTW I attended the most recent concert. Turn out was light probably due to it being the first one and the word wasn't out yet. The music was good and if you haven't seen the renovations to the park you should stop by.
