DECA News for Year End!

Our Luminaria display on 12/24 is the envy of nearby neighborhoods!  Thank you for continuing this tradition again this year!

SAVE THE DATE: to assemble your bags
When: 12/13 and 12/14
Time: Your convenience 10AM-4PM
Where: Cul de sac at 29 Winding Way near the entrance to the hiking trail

In years past, neighborhood reps have assembled bags; however, due to lack of availability, it is up to folks to come and grab kits for your home (and, if you want to volunteer to help out neighbors who can’t make it, you are welcome to.)  Everything will be clearly marked for your convenience.

CONTEST: GUESS HOW MANY BAGS/CANDLES WE WILL USE THIS YEAR AND SEND TO KRISTENKLUGHCANNELLA@GMAIL.COM by 12/1/2014.

NO DUES THIS YEAR!

We know the economy is rough and we have all had to watch our purse strings. This year, due to available funds in our DECA account, we will not require dues from our families and friends.  Enjoy!

THE SEASONS CHANGE...

Finally, because of personal obligations combined with waning interest in DECA events and activities. I must humbly report that I will be stepping down at the end of the year as DECA president.  I am hopeful that someone or someones will ‘step into the light’ to serve and even re-boot interest in our wonderful, talented, and caring community.  I will actively participate in any fellowship required—just not as president.

Please let me know if you are interested in this opportunity.

Happiest of Holidays and Good Health and Prosperity in the New Year!
