DECA PICNIC NEEDS HELP

Hello all,

I just wanted to thank everyone for volunteering to help with the picnic on Saturday. I am looking forward to seeing everyone as well as meeting our new neighbors.

We have most of the needs for the picnic taken care of but we are in desperate need of a couple tables and one or two tents. If you can help out please let me know.

If you have not already done so, please RSVP as soon as possible.

DECA Picnic

The annual DECA Picnic is set for Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 4:oo p.m. to dusk. This year we are featuring a moon bounce, crafts, and a snow cone machine. We are asking for your help to make this year’s picnic a success. If everyone helps out with one or two items, it will make the picnic go considerably smoother.

We have had a number of people volunteer to pitch in so far – thank you to those families covering one or more of the 25 items on the task list.

But help is still needed in the following areas… please let us know how you can help!
1. Help set up (We will need a number of people for this) – Glenn Gorman; need others
2. Help clean up (We will need a number of people for this) -
3. Purchase and organize face painting –
4. Lend, set up, and take down tables –
5. Lend, set up, and take down tents –
6. Lend, set up, take down volleyball net and organize a volleyball game –
7. Organize a kickball game –
8. Help grill hot dogs / hamburgers – Andrew Bevec; need others
9. Check out the park on Sunday to ensure that everything was cleaned up –

Finally, RSVP to Karen Bevec (610) 651-5644 or mcbevec@comcast.net by July 14th if you are attending the picnic. We need to have an accurate count to ensure we have enough food and drinks. Last names A – M please bring a salad/side dish to share; N – Z please bring a dessert. Beer and water will be provided by DECA. All other beverages are BYOB.
